SSL VPN 1.7 | Route Add Access Denied

Hi

1) I am 100% sure my SSL VPN is configured correctly because I have been using the same configuration for more than a year on a Windows XP machine and it still works now.

2) My Problem is on a Windows 7 Professional - 64bit
I installed the very same 1.7.
It CAN Authenticate and Establish the connection.
The only problem is I dont see the "All Traffic Force Thru VPN"
When I check the Logs and the last few lines is about
ROUTE ADD ACCESS DENIED.

It is a very new laptop and only has Symantec.Cloud Hosted End Point Protection but I checked the logs and it is not blocking anything.

try to disable UAC in windows 7.

I saw this problem on my Win 7 32 bit laptop.
I fixed it by running the SSL VPN client as administrator.
(right click on the icon)

Seems to work for me.

Somewhere in the UBB I have heard that the issue would be fix when SSL VPN client will run as a service, but I don't know when..... [:O]

Sorry for slow response as I was busy with work.

I am glad it is a Known Issue - look forward to a fix version (The one in Astaro seems very old)

I am preety sure my account on my laptop is a local admin but I will do that right click thing.

Alvin: With Win7, even if logged in as an account with administrative credentials, programs will run under a standard (non-admin) token unless specifically elevated to run under the admin token.

VPN: SSL Client without ADMIN rights
