Hi,
I have IPSec connection running stable between multiple sites. Two of the sites have multiple WAN lines. I have enabled IPSec Site-to-Site on all the interfaces, but are only able to run one IPSec route for each site-to-site combination. (Failover)
When the second IPSec route is going to get connected I have
"cannot route -- route already in use for" error since the route is already used for the other WAN combination.
Bad drawing example:
[Site A] - {Astaro Site A} - {Site A - WAN 1} -//INTERNET//- {Site B - WAN 1} - {Astaro Site B} - [Site B]
\-{Site A - WAN 2} -//INTERNET//- {Site B - WAN 2} -/
On some locations I only have one WAN link, but then often the inbound datarate is higher than the output; and it would be preferable to be able to use the output from two interfaces of the other sites.
Is it possible to get two WAN links of this type running between two sites?
I can run each link independent of the other, but I'm unable to run them at the same time. (It's not failover solution I'm looking for...)
Steps towards a solution...??
1. Enabling the tunnels to establish with some kind of routing
2. Policy routing or link aggregation of the IPSec tunnels??
3. Stable throughput with WAN 1, both or WAN 2 link combination.
Cheers!
Vegard
Ps. Why do things easy when you make it the hardway? :-)
