de-/active single ssl-vpn accounts possible?

Hello there,

we're using some isdn-routers (funkwerk/bintec), which will be switched on/off via an switchable powerline (managed via a .NET Application via http).

now we've to change from isdn-access to ssl-vpn logins.
the problem is: how can i switch on/off the ssl-accounts separately?
can i set up orders via http to the astaro (interface) to do this?

Is there an other solution available?

    Hi there,

    Yes this is possible.

    You can enable/disable ever user account individually and globally.

    Just go to WebAdmin > Users > User select your user account and click on the green traffic light which will turn to red as well as the user icon will turn tu grey.

    If you go back to sslvpn, you should even be able to see which user accounts are enabled/disabled depending on the user icon shown.

    i know the possibility to de-/activate accounts, but the question is: how can i control this accounts via an http-command (or something similar via .NET)?

    We can't allow normal users to login to a firewall, activate an account for a third-party supporter and deactivate after a few minutes, the security isn't guaranteed.

    The idea is to give the users (who are allowed to control the accounts) an .NET-Application (or something like a client) with a simple button (red/green, on/off, up/down etc.) to switch the accounts status.

    Can i control the astaro in this way or is there a solution available (from another vendor)?
