Astaro Gateway 220 to home VPN setup

We have an Astaro Gateway 220 and we want to be able to setup a VPN such that we can use it at home. In order to do that, does there have to be more hardware at each home or can you use software to access the VPN? The 220 is currently setup for a VPN to another building that has another Astaro Gateway so I am curious if it can be extended without having the hardware.

Possible?

Hi, you could setup a site-to-site VPN from your home using a VPN router at home, or you could run a free instance of Astaro at home.

Otherwise, you could use one of the VPN clients on your PC(s) to connect.

Not sure everyone who has it will have a router than can do VPN, which free instance of Astaro are you talking about? Tried to find a download but wasn't sure what product you were talking about.

The "free version" is simply a matter of licensing. Go to http://my.astaro.com , create an account, apply for a Home license, download the license, upload into an Astaro install at home, and apply the license.
