i got a strange problem with our asg v7 7.508 software firewall.
Several users told me that they can connect via pptp vpn but cannot reach
any internal servers. After checking some clients i found out that they are
connected via pptp vpn and got there ip and other settings from internal dhcp.
The problem is that the users can not connect to any internal server.
While checking the log i noticed that the "error"-users are not listed under
"online users" in the astaro admin gui. When a working user is connecting
everything is fine and he is listed under online users.
I checked the pptp logs but there is absolutely no difference in the log between
a working and an "error"-user during connect.
Authentication is done via radius and seems to be working fine too. When i check the logs on ias server everything is fine and the users are successfully authenticated.
Any ideas?
