For his part, de Raadt refuses “to become part of such a conspiracy” and claims he will not be investigating Perry’s allegations. Instead, he suggests anybody using the code should handle their own security audit: “large parts of the code are now found in many other projects/products” Perry says, “so it is unclear what the true impact of these allegations are.”
I don't know if it's true or not, but the fact that Raadt does not want to investigate it's a symptom that perhaps it's not a bs [:O]
just the opposite. Also the person making the claims has zero backing other than some gov't agency. I'm no fan of the gov't but i'm not willing to buy into this without actual confirmation from known cryptanalyst...which has not come forward.
