Remote Access through Astaro not possible

Hello,

we have the following setup:

Astaro 8.003 gateway with Remote Access VPN configured (Ipsec/Xauth)
Remote Users with:
Windows (Shrew Client)
Linux (Shrew Client)
Mac OS X (IPsecuritas)

any of the above Users can connect and work flawlessly in the VPN. But we have one User who uses an astaro home edition himself (the others have a wild mix of Netgear, AVM, LANcom, Teledat etc). He is the only one who cannot connect with his windows box through Shrew client (tried on 3 machines). BUT when using IPsecuritas on his MacBook or the genuine Astaro VPN client Trial, he can connect without problems.

The VPN gives the following:
#264: cannot respond to IPsec SA request because no connection is known for 0.0.0.0/0

Of course, he uses the same configuration profile as the other shrew users (who can connect flawlessly).

Any ideas ?

Hi, globolog, and welcome to the User BB!

I'd say that if the Astaro and IPsecuritas clients work, there's not much he can do with the Astaro. There's an outside chance he'd see something in the IPS or packet filter log.

Long shot, but has the user checked IPS, IM/P2P, and packet filter logs on his home ASG?
