Ipsec remote worker VPN with AD for authentication - is this possible?

Hi there,

I need to upgrade the security on our remote worker VPN and I am looking at using our existing astaro box to handle the VPN connections.

Is it possible to setup the Astaro handle the ipsec connections and point the astaro box at our active directory domain controller for user authentication?

    No and yes.  It cannot be done directly with AD. You can activate the RADIUS service on your AD server and use that.  On the Astaro, the RADIUS server defined in 'Authentication' must have higher priority than your AD server.
