I'm very happy with my "Astaro Box @ Home" but i can't connect my iPhone on VPN connections because of my phone plan ...
Let me explain why i want to do :
My iPhone plan with my operator (Orange) is limited to only Web & Mail trafic.
By the way it means that i'm only able to use ports :

20 : FTP Control
21 : FTP
80 : HTTP
443 : HTTPS
=== MAIL ===
25 : SMTP
110 : POP3
143 : IMAP
465 : SMTPS
993 : IMAPS
995 : POP3S
I can make connections on others ports like 3389 to connect to a windows server machine on RDP protocol but ... i have to pay data transfered.
I found a solution for RDP connections : instead of using port 3389, i use a similarily port subject to data encrypted flowing : 993 (IMAPS) which is working fine and i don't have to pay more for using it.
I'm now searching a way to connect m iPhone on the Astaro L2TP VPN Server by the way of another port than the "1701 UDP".
If i could change this port to something else like one of the ports i mentioned and do the same thing on the iPhone, i would be able to connect my iPhone on my VPN and use all kinds of ports/services i want (like SIP or something else ...).
What do you think of this idea ?
Do you think there is a way to change the connections ports that Astaro and the iPhone uses ? (perhaps using the iphone jailbreak to use a l2tp vpn client that could be able to use another port for connecting ?)
