ASG WebAdmin freeze after DHCP Server Config in Remote Access

Today I configured my Software based Astaro V8.

It was all working fine till I did the following.

I have my Astaro configured with Remote Access and L2TP over IPSEC.
Initially I had it configured to use the default IP Address range provided by the Astaro box when using L2TP over IPSEC.

Then I changed this to say to use a DHCP Server and pointed it to my Windows SBS 2008 Server which also acts as a DHCP server.

After I configured Astaro seems to have completly frozen up:
- No WebAdmin.
- No SSH.
- No Internet Access through the Astaro Box
- No VPN.

What have I done wrong?

    Oh, the ASG isn't reachable after you _configure_ the DHCP server. No need to connect any L2TP client to make it freeze? I though that you need to connect to make it freeze so far. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

    Then it sounds more like a bug in the Middleware. Could you break it once more for me, this time scanning the output of /etc/log/mdw-debug.log. Or you could just make it available for download , PM me the URL and I'll have a look at it.

    Okay here it goes...

    I have a Software ASG setup with the following:
    - Internal Static IP
    - External Static IP
    - Authentication Linked to Active Directory (from a SBS 2008 Server on the internal network).
    - Packet Filter set to default settings when you install the Software ASG (ticked all the boxes).
    - IPS set to default settings when you install the Software ASG (ticked all the boxes).
    - Web Security set per default (Web Proxy enabled).
    - Mail Security setup to monitor emails from my domain to my Exchange server on SBS 2008
    - Web Application Firewall Disabled.
    - No RED Boxes
    - No Site-2-Site VPN.
    - Remote Access configured as follows:
       * L2TP over IPSEC
          - PreShared Key
          - Assign IP Addresses by my Windows 2008 SBS DHCP Server.
          - Reachable on my internal network.
        * Several users setup to all access via VPN.

    The setup above results in a freeze of:
    - WebAdmin
    - SSH
    - Internet
    - VPN

    The freeze happens starts to happen about 5-10 seconds after I click the APPLY button when selecting to use my DHCP Server as IP provider for L2TP over IPSEC connections.

    I will mail you the request log file from the system after the system has frozen up.
