Can't remote into ACC Gateway

I'm trying to create a DNAT rule to allow me to connect to my ACC Gateway.

Here are the specs:
ASG 8.001
ACC Gateway is running on VMWARE at 192.168.1.1 on port 2222.

DNAT: 
Traffic Selector = Any -> Astaro Command Center (ACC) -> External WAN (Address)
Destination translation = ACC (192.168.1.1) -> Astaro Command Center (ACC)

Packet Filter: 
Position = 7
Source = Any
Service = Astaro Command Center (ACC)
Destination = ACC (192.168.1.1)
Action = Allow
Time Event = Always
Log traffic is checked


What am I missing? Logically, it makes sense...If I open live log and try to connect via outside network, I see the traffic being allowed through and hitting 192.168.1.1, but it just times out due to 'server stopped responding.' Any ideas?

    I was finally able to get VPN working, so I'm no longer worried about connecting remotely by passing port 2222 requests to the internal network...

    The issue now, though, is that I can't connect to ACC after I successfully connect via VPN. I can ping all of the other boxes on the internal network, except this one.

    ACC - 192.168.1.1
    VPN - Cisco VPN Client for iPhone

    I doublechecked the allowed networks under access control for both webadmin and gateway manager. They both have the correct VPN network assigned.

    ACC Gateway is running on VMWARE at 192.168.1.1 on port 2222.
