win 7 and vpn

Hi,

I have a win 7 computer. I´d like to set up a vpn connection but no using external software like ssl vpn client.

Possible?

Any guide?

Which better?

I prefer L2TP/IPsec with my iPhone, but the iPhone client only can use a PSK. Two or three years ago, Microsoft added certificate support to their standard VPN client.

Thanks Bob - helpful, as usual.

Actually got the VPN to work, once I started using Firefox.

Haven't tested it with iPhone yet - they never even asked for that, but I know they will...
