VPN cluster controller IP

Hi,
I'm just wondering if anybody here was dealing with AP/DB cluster build in VPN. I didn't find it here, but it's possible i missed something... [:)]

I'm using ASG 120 ver. 7.505 and my question is how to set up cluster controller IP in Astaro which should be inside of VPN, but it can not authenticate it self? Cluster nodes are on different sites and in any case of HW / connection failure working node is hand-overing the cluster controller IP.

    Hi BAlfson, thank you for quick reaction and for welcome.

    Yes, you understand well -- two different physical locations (for example location 1 is New York, location 2 is in Tokyo [:)] ) -> two different internal networks connected via VPN through Internet.

    It should be DB cluster, so I'm not talking about about building VPN cluster - like two computers running VPN server on.
    I understand that both nodes of my DB cluster has to be in VPN to see each other, so each one is connected over PPTP and has it's own static IP. 

    So, for example node 1 IP is x.x.x.101 and node 2 has x.x.x.102 

    Now, on each node is running keepalive daemon (cluster controller) which is taking care about availability of the service.
    The thing about keepalive daemon is that you just tell it to listen on lets say x.x.x.103 IP and that's it (in non VPN environment)
    But when I log both server into VPN, everything is working fine (i mean communication between nodes, replication of data etc.) except cluster controller.

    How should I define the object in Astaro which tells that IP x.x.x.103 is part of PPTP pool network?
