Example config file for Linux IPSEC->Astaro?

Hi all.

Does anyone have a config file that I can use to connect to Astaro from a Linux box running Ubuntu with FreeS/WAN ?

This is an IPSEC connection with a .p12 cert.

I can't figure out how to configure this thing :-(

    Sorry, not much help here, but I have the same question. Wouldn't it be nice to have a package installer similar to the Windows one but for linux.

    As there are many different types of Linux, we will probably have to make do with a set of instructions instead. So I suppose my question really is "Does anyone know where one could find such a set of step by step instructions? "

    I am running Ubuntu 12.04 with version: 9.004-34  UTM. All my computers run Ubuntu Linux with Virtual box for my Windows system needs. I am working to get instructions to configure IPSec and L2TP over IPSec among things. I think the answer will be that it will take us to figure it out. Keep Googling Google for posts  / forum answers about Linux / Ubuntu and VPN configurations. You might run across a post that describes how someone got Open VPN, Swan VPN or other Linux VPN client to connect to a VPN server. ( how to configure the client step by step) Not that it be a UTM / Astaro VPN server but that would mention each certificate / file and where to copy it on your Ubuntu / Linux VPN client application and then be able to figure out how to edit the instructions for you current flavor of Linux and then it works.   If I get my system all configured to work with SSL, PPTp, IPSec and etc, I will write up somehting and post to this forum. 

    I have been working on and off on this Linux / Ubuntu client to UTM VPN connection for about 10 days now.
