Problem with an IPSEC remote gateway

Hello.

I have an astaro firewall configured with 11 remote gateways, and it works fine with almost all of them.

But there is one that just wont show up on the list of connections, and I just cant figure out why.

It has been setup exactly like the other ones, and modified to the correct stuff, but it wont show up.

Anyone got an idea what to do?

    Delete the configuration on both sides and try agian?

    Tried so a numerous of times.

    We are talking about plain VPN config right?
    - as there is just too many other configs that shouldnt be deleted.

    The remote gateway is a pfSense firewall, but thats not the problem as we are running several other pfSense gateways that works just fine. 

    The problem is purely that I cannot see the connection in the site-to-site ipsec overview.

    Do you mean it doesn't even appear in the 'Site-to-Site Tunnel Status' list?  If so, then please show a picture of the 'Connections' tab in 'IPsec'.

    If it's a respond only gateway that's OK. Those connections show up after they are established. What does the IPsec log say? Is the remote gateway trying to connect?

    d12fk: well, they should show up when not connected too, but it didnt.

    BAlfson: yes, that was what the problem was.

    But now the problem is gone. Tried to start completely over one more time, and this time it actually works, just tried caling all of the items something other than before, and that worked out.

    So, problem solved.
