Use case: will this work?

I have a scenario that I'm thinking of using a pair of ASG110 to implement. Can anyone tell me if this will/won't work?

I have a pair of sites(main, remote) that need to be connected by VPN. Due to the nature of the internet connectivity (very unreliable), I want to have redundant connections for both sites.

The ASG110 has 3 ethernet ports. Will it work to set up two tunnels, one between each pair of matching ports?

If it's possible to set up the two tunnels, will the ASG load-balance between the two, or will they work as a failover pair?

    Jim, you can do load-balancing or failover with each ISP connected to separate interfaces.  When negotiating for the second connection, make sure that they aren't, in fact, both supplied by the same entity with one reselling the service for the other.

    PS The new "110" is really the 110/120.  It gets its "personality" from the version of Network Security Subscription you buy.  That means it comes with four ethernet ports instead of three like the older 110s.

    Oh my goodness, this works! I downloaded the ASG Appliance (for VMware) and built out a proof-of-concept using a pair of ASGs and several instances of the floppy-based FreeSCO router. I was able to simulate my environment and was impressed by how seamlessly the ASG takes care of redundant tunnels over redundant connections. I'm already in communication with the sales folks to get a 30-day trial to pilot the devices in the real space...
