VPN Routing by Country

Hi,

Does anyone know how and if we can quickly add IP blocks belonging to different countries to the VPN routing rules?

We have various VPN tunnels for various countries, and we would like that, if for instance, an internal user wants to access a website in USA, goes thru the US tunnel, if want's to access an UK website, goes thru the UK vpn tunnel.

I know which IPs belong to each country, but they are quite a lot and doing it manually would take really long time...

Thanks!
Dave

  • Interesting question, Dave.  What advantage would you expect from doing this as opposed to letting the internet route such requests outside your VPN?

    Cheers - Bob

  • Hi Bob,

This would allow to have trunks to specific countries and have a local IP.

For instance, some sites are not accessible if your IP is outside a specific country. Having a routing by country, you could have your complete network benefit from the routing configuration, instead of manually VPN into each country to get a local IP.

This could be achieved, having outgoing trunks with VPN providers around the world.
