Cannot connect to internet after connecting to SSL VPN

I have ASG 7.503. I have setup SSL VPN to my home network. After I connect to the SSL VPN from my laptop, I can see my home network fine but all internet connectivity is lost. I have read all forum topics on this issue and have tried lot of settings but nothing works. The name resolution of any website fails.

Am I doing something wrong or is internet not supposed to work after connecting to SSL VPN?

    I think Barry's implication is that, before V8, those settings on the Advanced tab won't apply to anything but PPTP and L2TP. [CORRECTION: William's comment is correct.  Over 10 months ago, Astaro configured the SSL VPN server to push 'DHCP-option DNS' settings.  At the same time, they also configured the IPsec server to send DNS settings to IPsec clients.  The on-screen documentation and the manual presently are incorrect that the DNS/WINS settings in 'Remote Access >> Advanced' only apply to L2TP and PPTP.]

    Arun, I wonder if your problem isn't the same one people were having with Vista last year, and that you need to install and run the client as administrator.

    Hi all.

    After cross reading all posts I missed one thing:

    In "Remote Access => Advanced" you can set DNS for all incoming VPN clients. Here at work we have set it to our Astaro's IP.

    For browsing ont the internet SSL VPN pool or specified user networks must be allowed to the Web proxy. Here split tunneling is not allowed. For some HTTP(S) traffic we have some pfr.

    We didn't configure IPs for the SSL VPN pool manually. We don't use other ranges as out of the box too.

    Just my 0,02 EUR.
