Iphone, connects once - then doesnt?

Ok, when I deploy the ASG VM on my ESX host it works great for my 1st connection (Only testing internal for now) - Then if I disconnect I get the dreaded "L2TP-VPN server did not respond" ....

If I wait maybe 10 minutes, it will sometimes reconnect ... But sometimes I cant connect for hours until it works again?

Has anyone seen this?

(This doesnt address why I cant get to the internet when it does work, but I can get to the internal sites)

    The selection for full/split tunnel for L2TP is in the client; 'Send all traffic' in the iPhone configuration.  If you have that selected and you can reach internet sites by numeric IP address, then add a valid DNS server on the 'Remote Access >> Advanced' page.

    Bob - It was the DNS, I managed to find that after my post - but I also thank you for the reply.

    After a new deployment of the VM I appear to connect better, but it I connect and disconnect, I cant make a new connection for a few minutes - Is there a reset timer or something?

    I'm am having this same issue on my iPad.  I have all 3 setup IPSec, L2TP over IPSec, and PPTP.  Any one of them will be working just fine and i'll disconnect or get disconnected and try to reconnect and it wont connect on any of them.  I even have it so I can use my Slingbox and Air Video without the vpn but I cant connect to those services either.  Its like it blocks any of my connections for like 10 minutes or so then after a while everything works just fine again.

    Maybe the routing needs to be flushed some how?  Any help or explanation of why this is happening would be great.
