S2S and proxy service

Hello,

First of all: I'm not familiar with the ASG.

I setup a S2S IPSec VPN between a ASG7 and a funkwerk router. The ASG proxy service is enabled too.
If a client at the ASG site access a host on the other vpn site then I see that the connection is allways made by the private IP address of the ASG. Is this the typical design of the ASG?
With other VPN/Internet Access router the VPN connection doesn't touched the proxy services on the same box.
