[7.5] Cisco VPN iPhone: Could not validate the Server Certificate

This error is driving me nuts. I have followed the instructions, but can't seem to get this working.

Anyone else experience this error, and have ideas of things to try?

RESOLVED:

I just created a new X509 cert, and told the Cisco VPN to use it. I made sure to set the Cert CN to match the Hostname.

Works fine now.

No, I cannot.

Interesting. Normally Cisco VPN's support split tunneling, but maybe this doesn't?

For some reason people-including myself- are unable to browse the internet using iphone ipsec cisco.

I tried something earlier today, that made web browsing work, but broke email functionality. On the iPhone, I went to the VON config, and added a proxy entry.

I chose Manual, entered the internet IP of the Astaro, and 8080 for the port.

That enabled web surfing, but then my email would no longer work. (My email server is hosted on my internal network). So, I think the problem has to do with telling the VPN to route internet traffic to the proxy, but the mail server isn't there. Not totally sure. I'll play more tonight.

Did you mean internet IP or internal IP? My proxy is : Internal ip 192.168.2.100 and port 8080 with no authentication

I am able to browse the internet (connection is slow though) but when trying to connect to webadmin,fetch mails via pop and user portal there is no connection

vpn pool is under the Webadmin, mail and portal settings
