PPTP VPN to work

Hi,
I am new to astaro internet security. Can someone please tell me how I can set up a VPN to work. Before installing astaro i used to connect via PPTP. Now it doesn't connect at all, obviously  because astaro is blocking the port. I have tried opening port 1723 and still doesn't work. Any help will be much appreciated. Thank you.

  • Thanks BAlfson.
I checked my packet filter log and saw that the traffic is still being blocked. This is my log file.
    19:06:02 Default DROP TCP 10.1.1.254: 50026→ 210.15.x.x:1723 [SYN] len=52
    19:06:05 Default DROP TCP   10.1.1.254 :50026→210.15.x.x:1723[SYNlen=52

The settings i have done is:

    Definitions:
Network:  VPN_Client --> Host -->10.1.1.254 (PC trying to connect to work VPN).

    Network Security

    Packet Filter    Source:VPN_Client
                                  Service: PPTP
                                  Destination: External (WAN) Network.

    NAT           Traffic Source: Any
                              Traffic Service: PPTP
                              Traffic Destination: External (WAN) Network
                               NAT Mode: DNAT
                               Source: VPN_Client

Can you please tell me where i am going wrong??? Thank you
