Mirroring SQL Servers

Hi there, we have Astaro Firewalls at our location and our colo. We have SQL servers at both locations, with a vpn connecting the two. We run the latest version of the software. We are having problems mirroring between the two sql servers. When we reboot the firewall, it mirrors for a while, then stops working. We can't see that its being blocked anywhere. Has anyone else had an experiance similar to this that might be able to offer some insight?

here is some extra information that may help....
IKE: Auth PSK / Enc AES_CBC_256 / Hash MD5 / Lifetime 7800s / DPD  
  
IPSec: Enc AES_128 / Hash HMAC_MD5 / Lifetime 3600s

    This smells like a hardware issue on one end or the other.  Maybe changing cables would solve it.  Maybe there's an MTU issue.  Maybe setting the External or Internal interface to a fixed speed.  Maybe setting the interface to half-duplex.

    If that doesn't resolve it, can you show what's happening in the IPsec log when the mirrroring fails?
