Active Directory authentication with subdomain

Hi,

I am trying authenticate users from our subdomain for OpenVPN. It is working good for our main domain. The log says: "invalid search base or filter".
The Base DN includes the subdomain (DC=domain,DC=com). I have also tried without the Base DN. Our Astaro version is 7.404.
Do I need any special rights for the bind user?
Any ideas?

    'CN=testawo,CN=Users,DC=berlin,DC=domain,DC=com' seems invalid to me.  I wouldhave expected "OU=Users" in that string.  Also, I'm no Active Directory guru, but should you have the "DC=berlin" in there?

    Hi,

    Berlin is the subdomain. You are correct about the CN users. This was autocreated though. I prefetched a group with contains "testawo". I will try to prefetch the group with "OU=Users" and post my results.
