Remote Access-mapped drives

We are just in the process of moving from Juniper to Astaro, we use VPN access a lot, and one of the problems we have had is getting mapped drives to work over the VPN, currently have to use LM Hostfile, WINS and a hosts file and even then it is flakey at best, is there a straightforward way of doing this with remote access over ssl vpn?  Thanks,  Peter

    I've only experimented with the SSL VPN this year.  Prior to that, we toyed with IPsec Remote Access, but have used L2TP over IPsec almost exclusively for years.  Our server's drive shares to my laptops always have worked as well via VPN as when connected locally in the office.
