Hello Forum!
I'm currently evaluating - and most probably buying - an ASG 220 V7.
Everything works flawless so far.
But I have one thing that dosn't work as intended:
I've implemented Remote Access via PPTP. Clients get their IP-Adresses assigned via DHCP from an internal DHCP Server. In the "Remote Access" section I can see all connected users. But sometimes those connections get stuck and stay there forever although the connection is already terminated. I think this happens when users don't terminate their VPN connection properly.
Analyzing this problem I've checked how many pptp processes and ppp interfaces are active on the SSH console. I can only see the active connections there...not those orphaned "ghost" connections.
Restarting pptp or pppd daemons on the console doesn't help. Restarting the firewall might help but I don't want to do that.
It looks like those connections are stored in a file, database or something?
Is there a way to do a clean remove of such cconnections?
Cheers,
Reinhard
