Can't ping local subnet from remote subnet

Scenario...
I have a site to site VPN between Astaro and a NetScreen.  Astaro, which is local, is subnet 192.160.1.0/24 and NetScreen, which is remote is 10.8.162.0/24.  I can ping remote ip addresses from the local subnet, but not the other way around. (192.168.1.0 can ping 10.8.162.0, but 10.8.162.0 can't ping 192.168.1.0 subnet.)

Here is the kicker I can't ping any of the addresses, but from the remote location I can connect to the Astaro WebAdmin over port 4444. (i.e. I can connect to 192.168.1.2:4444 from remote address of 10.8.162.250.)

Any help is much appreciated.
