Troubles with VPN...?

We have the VPN client installed on a few different machines. On my personal machine the VPN used to work just fine, but now, out of nowhere, it seems to be having issues. It allows me to connect, as in I get the little green light, but I am not able to do a remote desktop session to the servers like I used to be able to. Any thoughts on what may have taken place and started causing these issues?

    Hi, Derek, welcome to the board!

    There's not enough detail in your question.  Last year, one of the admins here suggested How To Ask Questions The Smart Way.  I read it and liked it; you might get some benefit from it, too.

    BruceK once commented that the Winny rule in IM/P2P sometimes trips up RDP, but that's just a WAG.  Versions?  Results of ping by IP and by name?  Etc.

    Any thoughts on what may have taken place and started causing these issues?


    1.) no packet filter that allows the traffic, either auto packet filter, or manual.
    2.) no default route on the internal server, so the answer packets will never get back to the vpn tunnel.
