PPTP subnet is different from windows ipconfig

Hey all,

My PPTP subnet (according the the ASG) is set to 255.255.255.0 however, when I login to the vpn, go to command prompt and do a ipconfig, the subnet is 255.255.255.255

Now I'm confused as to which is the real subnet. Right now I'm trying to allow remote users to login to a televantage server with their client software via vpn and to no avail. Any input would be appreciate.
