Do you have client less SSL VPN ??

I watched your video about how to deploy SSL VPN but I wondered if you did a 'client less' version of this instead of having to install an application on the remote PC?

I would like partners to access file shares on my servers, so I am keen to have an SSL VPN solution that does not require the partner to have an intrusive programs installed on their PCs - so I would rather they access my back end Windows 2003 file shares as web folders within HTTPS:// - or second best would be to have an SSL tunnel initiated from a web browser using built in Java to access CIFS file shares.

Can your gateway product accommodate this?

    I don't understand! I thought this was a valid remote access question relating to the Astaro Gateway? [:S]

    Does this mean the Astaro does or does not do client less SSL VPN?

    What BAlfson was trying to let you know is that this is a user-to-user board.  Astaro employees do chime in from time to time, but it can't be expected that they will.
     
    If your asking for something similar to the Cisco WebVPN, then no, that isn't avaiable in Astaro.  Astaro does offer VPN through several different client types though.  Take a look in the Astaro manual for details on each.

    cdgeorge, here are the Astaro resellers in the UK; one of them will be better able to help you with pre-sales questions.  This User BB is, as Scott explains, a user-to-user forum where Astaro users exchange information with eachother; it is not the place for official communication with Astaro.

    It is a piece of cake to enable HTTPS access to servers behind the Astaro, but you should speak with a reseller that can spend more time with your situation to know whether Astaro is the right solution for you.
