SSL connects but no routing

This has been a problem I have been chasing for some time.

If I use a PPTP connection from Vista x64, I get the results I want.  I can see/ping the internal network and access the internet with all my traffic being routed through the ASG.

But, at some remote locations, PPTP won't connect and it shows that port 1739 is being blocked at some point.  I have confirmed that it isn't the firewall on the remote laptop.  Usually a random hotel where it doesn't work.

So, I thought I would try using SSL to connect.  Using Openvpn for x64 vista will connect, but I can't ping anything internally and all internet traffic does not traverse the ASG, but goes directly into the unsecure connected network.  

Any thoughts on what I might have missed between the 2 connections?

    Ah.. figured it out...

    In the networks trusted under SSL, I had 2 entries... 1 for external and 1 for internal.  When I deleted both of those and added 'any' it worked.

    Sorry to the bandwidth.
