Invalid username password when try login using user created for vpn

I have followed all the instructions for configuring ipsec, l2tp, pptp, ssl vpn. I get to the part where I'm supposed to login to the astaro portal using the user / pass I created for the VPN which will take me to the page to download software, certificates, instructions, etc. I cannot login using that remote user because it says invalid username or password unless I add that user to superadmin group which then brings me to the regular admin page and not the one to download certificates etc. Is this because I'm using a home license?

Now it seems my ip is banned. Is there a blacklist somewhere I can remove the ban from? When I try to access the portal remotely from the place I tried to login originally it doesn't allow me to pull up the interface. I can't even use RDP to connect from this location to my computer anymore (it works from any other location). The packet filter log doesn't show it being blocked but I'm guessing since I had so many failed login attempts it blocked me. Any help will be appreciated as I'm testing this new version at home and can't get ipsec vpn working (i've sold 6.0 on several locations and it worked fine)[:S]

Add your IP to the list of 'Never block networks' on the 'Security' tab of 'Management >> Webadmin Settings'.

https://[yourdomain]:4444 takes you to the Astaro.
https://[yourdomain], without the ':4444' takes you to the User Portal.
