WSUS via VPN - Port 80 routing problem

Hello everybody,

I have the following problem. I am not able to update my WSUS clients via VPN. The VPN tunnel is a configured IPSec tunnel on Astaro V6. Everything is working really fine.

But I cannot connect to the WSUS Internet Information Server on port 80. This error occurs because the client tries to communicate directly over the proxy. How can I configure my VPN tunnel or the client itself first try to communicate intern over port 80.

Other internal webservers also are not rechable over port 80. A temporary workaround could be changing the port. 

Does anybody have another solution for this problem?

    Have you tried bypassing the proxy for those web servers?  If you are in transparent mode, go to Proxies > HTTP and add the web server(s) to the box for "Skip source/destination networks:"
    You will need to have definitions for the servers first.
    If you are in standard or an authenticated mode, you will need to add the server as an exception in the browser.
