Site2Site VPN on a NIC other then the Gateway

I would like to establish a Site to Site IPSec VPN between two sites using a NIC other than the Gateway. Has anyone done this and if so, how did you get it to work. I have set it up and both ends show a connection, but can not pass traffic thru the tunnel. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you setup any PacketFilter rules?

Do pings and traceroutes work? (enable the ICMP settings on Astaro.)

You will have to define a static GATEWAY route like :

Network : Destination IP address of remote end point
Gateway : Gateway address for the NIC connection (if it's on a public ISP net, you should get the gateway address in the DHCP info).
