Wireless Clients

Any good way to secure my wireless clients besides the usual wpa encryption. Like possibly have my wireless clients VPN into the wired network where all my shares are?

Hi, you can make (on a different NIC) a different network (like a DMZ) and connect your AccessPoint to it. Then use SSL VPN to connect to your LAN....

so basically it will go like this.

cable modem --> astaro-> eth 0--> internal network clients & shares
eth 1-->DMZ linksys router

setup a vpn connection on the laptop. And thats it.

Other than dhcp and dns, any other configuration I need on the astaro to assume the role the linksys is currently playing (border firewall/router).

I see an issue, i need a switch on the internal network so I can connect all my clients. (the linksys wrt54g is doing that atm) but not after I move it.

Now how do I get my VPN clients on teh same network as my internal network.

Setup the VPN connections with routes and rules to allow traffic into the internal network.
