SSL Client required permissions

Hi,

We have a problem whereby if a user has normal user privileges the client doesn't work correctly. It actually returns an error trying to access the log folder and says the client needs to be run with administrator privileges to work correctly, also we are unable to ping etc on the network.

It works fine when run under an account with administrator privileges. We'd like to avoid making the users local administrators if possible, is there any way around this?

    you can give users modify access to the log files.  works for me


    We tried that but it didn't work. It wasn't adding the routes to the local routing table, was fixed by making the user a member of the local 'Network Configuration Operators' group. Works fine now.
