PPTP VPN First Time

I've had astaro 7 now for about 2 months.  So far so good.  I want to be able to VPN into my home network once again like before astaro.  I'm having some issues.

First off, VPN seems to work fine out of the box.  I dont think I even set up an y packet filter rules.  Here is my config.




I actually connect fine.


however my ip address is 192.168.1.2, which is impossible because thats another device already on my network at home, staticly configured.  not to mention, why the hell would I get a 255.255.255.255?  It's supposed to be 255.255.255.0



In addition I can't PING any device on my home network...its almost as if I'm not on my network but on another one.

Any ideas of what I could be doing wrong?

    what ist your configuration for the VPN-Pool(PPTP) under Definitions/Networks...
    What adress do you have configured there?
    If it's 192.168.1.x change it to someting like 10.x.x.x
    then also do a packetfilter.. for example... from PPTP pool to internal Net - Any
