I'm running into an issue that's been driving me nuts for the last few days – if anyone has some suggestions I'd love to hear them.
I'm currently running Retrospect 7.5 (backup software), and part of my backup strategy is to connect to 'Retrospect Clients' over our IPSec VPN to backup systems in a remote office. Up until last Thursday everything has been working fine for over a year, but now all the clients on the other end of the VPN have failed while those on the local network are having no issue. For the life of me I don't know of any changes mode to either the software or the VPN.
I can still run a test connection to the client, but when I try to do any real work (such as a backup or scan the hard drives) it fails. All other software such as VNC, Active Directory, etc. still work fine.
I don't expect anyone here to be an expert in Retrospect, but if anyone has an idea where I might start looking for information on what could be cutting me out mid connection it would really make my day.
