i want to use SSL VPN Client to access my network remotely. I'll use it mostly voor RDP-sessions. There's an option to use "compression". It says:
Use data compression: When enabled, all data sent through the SSL VPN tunnel will be compressed prior to encryption.
1) If I'm understanding it right the priority of compression will be higher but it will also be encrypted.
2) Is it advisable to use "compression" (in SSL VPN) for RDP-sessions for better performance or not?
NOTE: The connection that will be used for the SSL VPN-sessions is UMTS/HSDPA (max 380 kbit/s)
