New SSL VPN Bug

It appears the issue I was having with users having to log into the SSL VPN client twice to connect was fixed with the last up2date; however, it appears a new bug was introduced... the SSL VPN quits responding randomly.. and won't start working again until an administrator logs into Webadmin (how wierd is that)... I don't have to do anything except just log into webadmin.  I noticed that the end user portal also dies at the same time... it is on the same port... so I think something with the module that detects whether SSL traffic is VPN or End User Portal traffic is busted.  I started a ticket with Astaro, hopefully they can find a workaround.

    I have noticed a similar thing since the last update.
    My ASG110 is at 7.009

    No access to the portal anymore from Outside even after admin login to Webadmin.[:S]

    Well, I haven't had the problem since 7.009 was applied several days ago...

    Confirm that when using AD authentication on v7.009 with ssl-vpn all authentication mechanismes break, after some time, either webadmin, portal, ssl-vpn, pptp-vpn, ssh authentication is working on one of our asl systems. Hope it will be fixed after a reboot and hopefully a full fix in next patch. 

    Regret installing 7.009 now [:(]

    I have sent a support request to Astaro on this one. 

    Anyone found a fix for this ?

    I actually have not seen this problem since the last reboot... I think 7.009 triggered it, but rebooting cleared it up.

    I rebooted my ASG too.

    Problem seems to be solved.

    Seems to be ok also here.


    Only thing missing now is to get group member ship from SSL-VPN to also work in the User Portal. Obviously group based authentication works, but from some reason the User Portal will not show download links for configured VPN settings based on group membership.
