VPN SSL + broadcasts

Hi,

I have been trying to get SSL VPN to work with broadcasts but this doesnt seem to work.

Internal Lan 192.168.3.x
VPN Pool 10.242.2.x

I changed in /var/sec/chroot-openvpn/etc/openvpn/openvpn.conf the server to "dev tap". But after a restart of the service it resets the value to "dev tun".

I also enabeld a bridge "server-bridge 10.242.2.1 255.255.255.0 10.242.2.10 10.242.2.100".

But this doesnt seem to work.

I would like to be able to play some games over the SSL VPN but some of these need broadcast. Is there any way I can get this to work?

No.

BC won't get routed. Thats the reason, for example, why you need a DHCP Relay.

But using the value dev tun and the Server-bridge.
It is possible to bridge the Internal Network with the VPN Pool.
This would then transfer Broadcasts into von VPN Network.
