SSL VPN: route ADD Problem

Hello,
we have some trouble with the SSL VPN Client Software of the Astaro 7.004 Version on a Vista Client...
Actually the connection can be established but the network is not available. This only happens when the internet connection was lost. After rebooting the client pc and restart the vpn connection it will work properly until the internet connection will be lost or disconnected. Then the machine needs to be rebooted to continue the vpn session properly.

Has anybody else the same experiences?

I have the same Problem with Vista Ultimate and V7.004. I have open a Ticket with Astaro, but i got no answer from Astaro now...Im still waiting [:)]
I can connect with SSL VPN but the Internal Network are not Pingable...5sec Up and 5 sec down... we must wait [:(] i think it's a Bug from OpenVPN...

You might have a problem with automatically adding the route to the internal network. Avoid this by launching the binary with "Als Administrator ausführen" (sorry, i don't know how the option is called in english).

Nevertheless, as in my case, it might still not work. 
I also opened a ticket but Astaro was not able to reproduce the problem, so its closed now...

So solved the problem on my own.
As in my case when using an UMTS connection, the routes metric added by the VPN-Client is too high, so packets have not been routed through the tunnel.
Deactivate UAC (Benutzerkontenverwaltung) (this might be a security hole).
This enables you to set routes on your own.
I wrote a 2-liner deleting the route set by the vpn-client and adding it again.
This has to be executed after the connection is established.
Now the metric is lower and packets are routed through the tunnel.

Its possible to set a metric with the newest openvpn version.
Maybe Astaro updates its client?

It is a known issue. I have been running OpenVPN for over a year and have it working on Vista by adding the following 2 lines at the end of the client config file.
route-method exe
route-delay 2

Adding the 2 lines doesn´t solve the problem.

Same problem but working at the first time. And then i try again same message intall again the client now its working but after restart same problem.
