SSL VPN connects but no internet access

I have my SSL VPN connection configured and partially working.  I can remotely connect to the internal network and access hosts on the internal network but I cannot access the external (Internet) while the VPN connection is active.  

I have read the manual concerning "split tunneling" and I think that I have my configuration set to NOT use it.  For security reasons while using public access points, I want all traffic to go through the ssl tunnel.

I have configured a packet rule that allows the SSL VPN source to access any service and any destination.  Can anyone tell me what I have missed to make this connection work.  I am trying to setup a road warrior type connection for protection while on public networks like hotels.

    In order for VPN connections to have access to the Internet, you must masquerade the VPN address pool behind the WAN interface. This is a similar masquerade setup to the one you would create to masquerade the Internal network behind the WAN interface.
