VPN-Tunnel with MTU1300 to 1390

Dear NG,
can anyone give me a hint how to solve the following problem?
3 ASG V. 3.303 are successfully connected over month.
Within 2 weeks i got problems on a vpn-connection through a cisco router which is inside the office2.

The vpn-tunnel is connecting, up and running from office1 to office2. Everything works. If i connect from office1 to a host through the vpn-tunnel and then trough the cisco-router, i can login, but i can not do a "ls -la". The shell is not working anymore. Sometimes i see some directorylistings, but only a few lines.

Does anyone have some hints? 

If i do this directly from office2 everything is working.

    Have you tried changing the MTU in the network interface settings?

    i tried only to change the MTU on the advanced vpn-settings.

    By the way - there is a funny thing for those who have the same problems:

    Terminalserver sessions are running through the tunnel.
    Sometime the did not show the login-screen. I put the MTU-size down to 1350 - everything is working fine.

    If the size is 1350 i got problem by doing a scp from remotenetwork (cisco) to my office ..., it is stalking.

    Hi,
    i tested it and the connection is not working anymore.
    The same problem.
    Now i got on one side MTU-sizes of 1420 and on the other side 1390 of advanced vpn-settings.

    This works fine for me. The problem seems to be located on the provider telefonica in germany. Sometimes it is working sometimes not!!
