we have the following situation. An SSH Sentinel 1.4 client on Windows XP is behind a Speedport firewall/router (NAT)-> Internet->Astaro, we want to establish a VPN tunnel to the lokal network.
We used an virtual IP and used NAT-T , the diagnostics worked well, but the VPN connection didn't work, client lost his IP address and the LAN didn't work anymore.
Is this a configuration, which can work ? I ' ve read there are proplems with 1.4 making NAT-T and problems to have a virtual IP address when using XP and SSH 1.4. (Where can I download the 1.4.1 update?)
When this configuration work, what must I do on the client/Speedport/Astaro?
When this configuration does not work , we want to use a Windows XP L2TP - VPN connection through the speedport. Is there a quick manual how to configure this on the client and on the Astaro 5.213 (I tried it but it did not work - there is a secret word in the Astaro Windows L2TP connection (is this the best way? ), but where can I input this word in XP ? Must I use a certificate and how can I use this when I import them on the XP machine in the VPN connection?)

P.S.: When the client is in the internet (SSH Sentinel->Internet->Astaro->lokal network) with no virtual IP and with/with no NAT-T there are no problems. Connection works well.
