Checkpoint SecuRemote/SecuClient

Hi,

is it possible to use the above Software in order to establish a vpn connection to an ASG320 ?
Or do I need some other software like Astaro Secure Client etc....

I don't recommend using vpn clients from other vendors with Astaro, I have experimented many interoperability problems in roadwarriors scenarios, most problems are always related with NAT-traversal, so if you don't have a NAT you could not have big problems. Anyway, you better use Astaro client.

ASG V7 comes with SSL VPN, which includes free Remote Access Client.

You can download the Client inkluding configuration from the new End-User portal. Than it is only a 1-click installation and off you go.

There is no easier way to get Remote Access.

If strong SSL encryption is not enough and you need IPSec and the Protocol, than you can use the Astaro Secure Client Software. 
You will find the matching Certificates and Configuration file also in the V7 end-user portal.

If security is less your concern, but ease of use, you can also use the Windows Integrated Remote Access using PPTP or L2TP over IPSec.

The decission is up to you.

Thx for your replies, in the meantime I also contacted Astaro Support and they told me that it is not possible to use these client.
So I have to look for different Migration way.
