VPN is up but no traffic is going through it

Hello All, 

till yesterday i got a running vpn between 2 offices.
Today 2007-01-25 vpn is up but services like scp, or ftp is not working anymore.
There are still no changes in configuration. VPN is still up and running.
scp brings up: e.g.13%  192KB   0.0KB/s - stalled -K
ftp brings up the same error.
ping is working.
rdp is not working. sceen came up but no login-window is popping up.
rlogin works fine.

Any hints for me?

    Something new:
    If i want to put a file with scp or ftp from site1 to site2 this will work.
    If i want to put a file with scp or ftp from site2 to site1 this will NOT work.
    rlogin, etc. will work fine for both sides.

    Another new thing.
    i fire up another vpn-site-to-site.
    Now i got 3 offices which are connectet to every other office.
    The offices are: Office1, Office2, Office3

    I can transver data over VPN from 
    Office1 to Office2
    Office1 to Office3

    Office2 to Office3 NO Traffic will be transfered
    Office2 to Office1 NO Traffic will be transfered

    Office3 to Office1
    Office3 to Office2

    Traffic from every Office without VPN-usage is working fine.

    office1 can not send data through vpn tunnel to office2 and office3.
    office2 can send data to office1 and office3
    office3 can do send data to office1 and office2

    Have a look at IPS logs.

    Try to disable everywhere to debug the problem !

    Similar problem I found for AS400 connection over VPN Tunnel, regarding MTU path discovery .... under IPS settings.

    Do you have the same Internet connection technology on each office or do you use adsl on one office, fixed line in a other....
    It's possibel you have a MTU Size problem in office 1!
    Try to set the MTU to something like 1200 for debuging.
    Change the MTU on the two computers you wish to transfer the files between.

    Problem solved.
    Provider had a problem with the sdsl-router.
    I fixed it with changeing the mtu for the tunnel to 1300.
