active directory authentication vpn clients

Guys I've configured astaro to use active direcory authentication. The problem is when I go and setup my vpn users I don't see active directory listed as a authentication option. Has anyone here seen this priblem before?

    VPN connections are best done via RADIUS (Remote Access Dial In User Security) authentication

    You need to run the RADIUS server on your Windows domain controller. You then configure the RADIUS authentication option on your Astaro box with the same shared secret password.

    Both the PPTP and the L2TP VPN protocols in Astaro can be configured for RADIUS authentication.  This will give you a system where the IDs and passwords used for VPN access are authenticated from Active Directory.

    Thats what I did decided to run raidus and all was good thanks for the reply.
