Hi All,

Ok, I have a 110 appliance and I also have the windows vpn client. My question is this:-

How do you setup and test a vpn client? I have tried to do this but you cant test the connection until you go to a different location (eg home), and it failed.(Home is 22 miles from work). I realise I could setup remote admin on the ASG and configure the client from home. But I cant see everyone setting up vpns, doing it this way.

Is there a way of making sure that the client works locally ?

I have a few external IP's and one with the ASG on it, but they are all from the same BT router (4 port each with an external IP) and are all on the same subnet. Im unsure if the client would work by connecting out on a different ip and back in to the port with the ASG.

    Normaly, if the router dose not drop that traffic, it should work that way.

    Give your laptop, or any system, with the client software on it, one of your public ips, and then connect to the firewall via VPN. If the connection is working, and you talk to internal systems, then it normaly should work from other locations too.
