How to browse the internet

I have setup a an astaro vpn/gateway box for testing. I have follow the PPTP setup guide (111662.doc). I am able to connect the tunnel, then log in to my Netware server using the netware client. The problem I have is the VPN assigns the the pc an ip from it's pool (10.xxx.xxx.xxx). My test user then can no longer access the internet of other internet services. Any ideas on how to create a vpn tunnel and keep the internet working?

    Your routing is changed by windows... see 
    "route print" in command line.

    You could use the HTTP proxy in your browser and surf via Astaro.
    This is also more safe.
    If you do so, i would recommend you to use Firefox for example.
    IE is buggy; most time it won't work
